LOU was created to reignite brands that make people take notice.
I started my career in 2015 as a journo, cutting my teeth at The Courier Mail and Style Magazines. At Style, I worked closely with both local and international brands, crafting editorial and advertorial pieces that brought national campaigns to life. It was there that I fell in love with the creative side of brand storytelling and took the leap into marketing and PR.
My passion for product and brand marketing really took off at ghd, where I learned the fundamentals of nurturing a global brand and building genuine customer connection in the ANZ market.
After three years, I craved a new challenge, so I jumped into the world of fashion retail. At Universal Store, I spent four years leading the marketing team as Marketing Manager for Uni Group. My job? Drive growth, create unforgettable campaigns, and launch vertical & third-party brands that stood out in a crowded market.
One of my proudest achievements was launching Perfect Stranger, transforming it from an in-house label to a national womenswear brand with 15 stores and a thriving eComm & social presence.
